Community In Action - Mini Fair Fun!
Last Friday, our school came alive with excitement as we opened up our school with our Mini Fair. This special event was a true celebration of community spirit, with classes creating and running their own fun stalls and activities. From games and lucky dips to tasty treats and creative crafts, there was something for everyone to enjoy! It was also a culmination of the work our Year 5/6 Students have been doing in Earn and Learn during Term 3, where they have been learning about Financial Literacy, budgeting and businesses.
The Mini Fair wasn’t just about fun, it was about students taking the lead. They planned, organised, and managed their stalls with the help of our amazing parent helpers, showing teamwork, creativity, and responsibility. It was wonderful to see so many students proudly sharing their ideas and working together to make the day a success.
Events like the Mini Fair remind us of what makes Greenhills so GREAT, our sense of connection, pride, and community. The smiles, laughter, and teamwork on display were fantastic to see, and it was clear that everyone had a great time. A big thank you to all the students, parents, and staff who made the day possible, you truly brought our school.
