Creating Safe & Inclusive School Communities

Yesterday, staff at Miners Rest Primary School participated in professional learning as part of our ongoing commitment to the Safe Schools program. This session focused on building a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students, including those who identify as LGBTIQA+.

The professional learning explored practical strategies and tools to ensure that every child feels valued, supported, and safe at school, regardless of their background or identity. We are proud to be a school that celebrates diversity and promotes a culture of inclusion, starting from Foundation and continuing through every year level.
