Victorian Interschool Snow Sports Championship

Billie S in 2M represented IPS at the Victorian Interschool Snow Sports Championship at Mt Buller this week. She was the only IPS competitor at this event and did a great job up against 130 other racers in her division.  Well done Billie!

Foundation Responsible Pet Ownership

On Wednesday, Foundation students were visited by Responsible Pet Ownership presenter Maria, and her dog Oreo. 

In our session we learnt about:

•            How to approach a dog safely

•            What to do if we see an angry dog

•            When to avoid touching dogs

•            How to tell if a dog is happy, scared or angry

•            Signs that indicate dangerous dogs

The session ended with some students patting Oreo. Oreo was described as very fluffy and very cute!
