Monty's Got Talent: Our Week of Stars!

What an absolutely amazing week! Over two incredible nights, our students took to the stage for 'Monty's Got Talent Camp,' and they were nothing short of sensational.

All 420 children brought their A-game, from our tiniest performers who charmed everyone with their enthusiasm, to our older students who showed real stage presence. The variety was fantastic – singing, dancing and acting that had the audience captivated throughout both nights!

Our Amazing Team

Huge thanks to our incredible staff who made it all possible:

Mrs Clancy created an original script and somehow organised all 420 children with remarkable skill and endless patience. She's definitely our school superhero!

Miss Bailey worked magic with the choreography, patiently teaching dance moves to everyone from natural performers to enthusiastic beginners, and somehow managed an endless stream of revised timetables along the way.

Mr Jared handled all our technical needs, keeping microphones working and sound effects perfectly timed throughout both nights.

Mrs Gardner, our wonderful art teacher, created absolutely stunning props and backdrops that looked truly professional. Her dedication was legendary – she ate cereal for 12 months beforehand to ensure there were enough boxes for the Ghostbusters props and backpacks!

Special Moments

There were so many wonderful moments that made us smile. We saw older students helping younger ones with costumes and offering encouraging whispers backstage. The warmth, support and cheering from families made it extra special for everyone.

What made this production truly shine wasn't just the talent on display, but the way our school community came together. Every child who stepped on stage and/or worked backstage showed courage and creativity, and every family member who cheered them on helped create the magic.

Thank you to our fantastic students for being sensational, to our dedicated staff for going above and beyond, and to all our families for your wonderful support.

Photos will be available on the school socials soon – get ready for some serious proud parent moments!

What an incredible couple of nights it was! We are thrilled that Mode Video Productions captured both performances in high-quality recordings so families can relive the magic. Videos are available from $17. By purchasing a copy, you not only get a lasting memory of our production but also help cover the filming costs for the school. Don’t miss the chance to secure your copy, orders can be placed here or by following the QR code below.

Parent Opinion Survey: Your Voice Matters

Randomly selected families in our school community will soon receive the annual Parent Opinion Survey from the Department of Education. This valuable survey helps our school understand how well we're meeting the needs of all students by gathering feedback on school climate, student behavior and engagement.

If you're selected to participate, we encourage you to share your honest perspective – whether you're having a wonderful experience, facing some challenges or somewhere in between. The most helpful feedback often comes from families who take time to provide balanced, thoughtful responses that reflect both what's working well and areas where we might grow.

While it's natural for those with strong concerns to be motivated to respond, we're equally interested in hearing from families who may be quietly satisfied with their school experience. Your 'everyday' perspective is just as valuable as any dramatic highs or lows, and helps us get a complete picture of our school community.

The survey results help inform our school planning and guide us in developing programs and initiatives that support all students. When families across the full spectrum of experiences participate, we get the clearest view of how to best serve everyone.

Whether your school journey has been smooth sailing, bumpy at times or a mix of both, your honest input helps us continue improving and celebrating what makes our school community special.

Have a fabulous (and hopefully restful) weekend!
