Lord,
Open our eyes that we may see the deepest needs of your people.
Move our hands so that we may feed the hungry.
Touch our hearts that they may bring warmth to those who are sad.
Let us share our time and possessions with those in need.
Amen
As we wrap up our St Vinnies winter appeal, I would like to thank all families who have contributed to the St Vinnies Winter Appeal. Your generosity is helping to support those in need. We encourage all families to continue giving to this important initiative. Donation baskets are available at each year level across the school. The appeal has been extended until Friday, the 29th of August.
At St Fidelis, we recognise that parents are the first and most important educators in their child’s faith journey. As a Catholic school, we are committed to supporting this partnership through Parent/Child workshops and faith formation opportunities across all year levels. We are pleased to announce our second Faith Formation Evening for 2025, which will be held on Thursday, 28th August at 7.00 pm. This session is for families in 1/2NA and 1/2OB, as well as for those who were unable to attend the previous evening. This event will take place in the school hall.
The workshop will be facilitated by Pauline Cicutto, Religious Education Learning Consultant at MACS, who brings a wealth of experience in leading engaging and meaningful formation for families.
This Tuesday, the 28th of August at 9.15 am, Year 5/6MC and Year 5/6ZK will be attending mass. We warmly invite parents, families, and members of our school community to join us in prayer and celebration. It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to come together in faith, reflect, and take part in the life of our parish community.
God bless, and have a great week.
