Principal's Message

Dear Endeavour Hills Specialist School community members,

As Term 3 draws to a close, I want to take a moment to celebrate the many wonderful experiences and achievements we’ve shared this term. Our students have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, and it’s been inspiring to witness their growth both inside and outside the classroom. I would like to thank our school community for your support and kindness as we navigated some particularly challenging events. The kind words of support and the trust you place in us as we teach your children means a great deal to all the staff.

This term has been filled with exciting activities across the school. Our Acacia and Banksia students participated in a fantastic swimming program, building confidence and important skills in the water. We celebrated Book Week with events for the whole school, including our much-loved Character Parade that showcased the creativity and imagination of our students.

Nurse Jessie organised OrthoKids, promoting healthy habits and awareness, and our Peppermint students celebrated 100 Days of school and enjoyed a special Teddy Bear’s Hospital clinic and picnic, making learning fun and comforting.

Additionally, we hosted a NDIS Information Session which provided valuable support and resources for families in our community.

We also welcomed 3 new ESs to the school this term - Jazmyn in Bursaria, Saddiqa in Peppermint and Tayla in Heath. Their expertise and passion have already made a positive impact, and we look forward to working alongside them to continue providing the best possible education for our students.

Congratulations to Elise Rogers from administration on her well-deserved retirement! Having started as an ES classroom support and later moving into the front officer, her presence will be deeply missed. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Melinda Cooray, the Peppermint 2C teacher, as she transfers to another school—her energy, compassion, and professionalism have truly enriched our team. We wish you every success and happiness in your new role!

As we head into the upcoming break, I encourage everyone to take time to rest and enjoy quality moments with family and friends.

We look forward to welcoming all students back on Monday, 6th October 2025, for an exciting Term 4!

Warmly,

Karen Hunt
