Art Club

This term, our Art Clubs have been buzzing with creativity and teamwork!

On Mondays, students from Grades 3–6 have been getting their hands messy in Clay Club, learning new techniques and shaping their own unique ceramic creations.

On Tuesdays, Grades 3–4 have been putting their skills and imagination to the test in Art Club, with a focus on developing and refining their painting techniques.

On Thursdays, our youngest artists from Grades 1–2 have been working together on an exciting collaborative artwork. We can’t wait to share the finished piece – watch this space!

It’s been wonderful to see so many students exploring new materials, building their skills, and sharing ideas with one another. If you’ve missed a place in Art Club & you’re still interested in coming, check in regularly with me (Ms Carlin) and I’ll let you know when you can join in.

Special thanks to Lana from Grade 5 who has been working on an artwork using the Reconciliation Day t-shirts that students created last term. We can’t wait to share the outcome with you all!

Our Prep students had an exciting hands-on experience this week as they explored working with clay for the very first time! The children discovered how to pinch, roll, and shape the soft material into imaginative creations. It was a wonderful sensory activity that encouraged creativity, fine motor development, and lots of fun. Over the coming weeks the students will be creating a clay pendant suncatcher they can take home. We’re so proud of their curiosity and enthusiasm!
