Hello from 1C

1C has started the year on an incredible note. Students have actively engaged in group activities, fostering strong connections with their peers and creating a supportive environment for learning.

The students have seamlessly settled back into the routine of our core literacy program, UFLI, demonstrating impressive focus and dedication. Their eagerness to engage with UFLI has created a positive, productive atmosphere in the classroom. 

We have been mastering place value concepts, using MAB blocks to build and visualise numbers. They are also becoming skilled at ordering numbers, confidently arranging them in ascending and descending order.

In our science unit on light and sound, the students had a blast exploring how sound travels by creating their own paper cup phones. It was a hands-on, exciting experience that sparked their curiosity and deepened their understanding of sound waves in a fun and interactive way.
