Alumni - Contact us!

This year we have initiated plans to connect with past students, and facilitate connections within the Alumni community and the College. First established in 1980 as Wantirna High School, our College has grown to almost 1500 students with a reputation for progressive teaching practices that achieve outstanding student outcomes.

Commencing in 2025, we hope to run annual Alumni tours of the College, dinner events with other students who attended the College in the same decade and opportunities for past students to reconnect.

One of Wantirna College's strengths is the lasting relationships we foster which is evident in the many volunteers, current teachers and even College Council President who were past students of the College. We are looking forward to connecting with our Alumni community this year.

If you are an ex Wantirna High/College student we encourage you to visit our website and get in touch: Alumni - Wantirna College

Mooroop Centre

Unfortunately, due to extensive flooding two weeks ago, we’ve had to delay the opening of the Mooroop Centre as we replace the flooring of the Gym and Performing arts space. PE, Dance and Drama classes will continue in the ECA and we look forward to officially opening the Mooroop Centre in Term 3. We thank everyone for their understanding, flexibility and support during this time.

End of Term 1

As Term 1 draws to a close, it would be remiss of me not to reflect on how many great things have been achieved this term. A big thank you to staff, many who go above and beyond in making the following events happen as they are committed to ensuring our students are given every opportunity to have enriching experiences beyond the classroom.

Of course, these events occur in, and around, the great work that happens every day in our classrooms:

  • Year 7 Camp

  • Year 7 Family Night

  • VCE Information Night

  • Swimming Carnival

  • Parent Forum

  • Year 8 Challenge Week

  • Naplan

  • Staff concert (and 2 weeks of evening Music soirees)

  • Open Night

  • Year 9 Mock Interviews/Morrisby Testing

  • Academic Review Conferences

  • Production Camp

  • Aviation Camp

I wish all families a safe and relaxing break.
