Production Camp

A Show-Stopping Start at Candlebark Farm

Our talented Chicago: Teen Edition cast and crew recently returned from a three-day production camp at the beautiful Candlebark Farm – and what an unforgettable experience it was!

The camp was packed with high-energy rehearsals, team bonding, and lots of laughter. Students spent their days immersed in choreography, vocals, and character work, supported by our passionate staff and production team. The progress made in just a few days was incredible, with scenes starting to come to life and dance numbers sharpening with every run-through.

But camp wasn’t just about rehearsals – we made time for some serious fun too! One of the highlights was the thrilling escape room challenge, where students had to work together to crack codes, solve puzzles, and beat the clock. It was an awesome way to test teamwork and problem-solving – with plenty of laughs along the way. Another highlight was our dress up night, where the theme was “Rhyme without Reason”. Students teamed up and came dressed as hilarious and creative groups like “Toy Story and Finding Dory”,  “Bluey and Mr Lewis” and “Gnomes and Sherlock Holmes”. The creativity on display was next-level and had everyone laughing all night long.

The experience brought our cast and crew even closer, forming strong bonds that will carry through to the final performance. Whether singing together in rehearsals and the dining hall, or sharing a meal, the sense of community was something truly special.

A huge thank you to all the staff who made this camp possible, the parents who supported behind the scenes, and most importantly, our incredible students for their energy, enthusiasm, and talent.

Chicago: Teen Edition is shaping up to be an unforgettable show – and this camp has set the stage for something truly spectacular. We can’t wait to see you in the audience!

Soirees

Congratulations to all students who performed at our Term 1 Soirees. It's always particularly wonderful to see our Year 7's overcome their nerves to perform for the first time.  Now that they've cut their teeth, students will begin preparing for our showcases which we look forward to presenting in Term 2.
