Today 7C made apple crumble!
They started off by grabbing all their ingredients then chopped up some apple. They added cinnamon, a clove, sugar, water and chopped up apple and added it into a saucepan to let it boil. Once it had finished they put it into a aluminium foil bowl. Then they made the crumble that went on top of the apple, then they put it into the oven! The apple crumble was so delicious!!

We all love a good meal and what’s better than a home-cooked meal created with hand-made cookware. The students have been working diligently and carefully on creating a wooden spoon or spatula to not only improve their practical skills and knowledge but to also have something they can share with their loved ones.

As part of Wantirna College's Open Night, our next-generation digital natives were invited to learn how to use and understand various digital technologies. They were able to enjoy Minecraft (Education Edition) within a secure and safe environment to learn to programme.
Students were also able to work with Block coding (think Scratch) and Javascript to plug and play with Microbits.
Finally, our digital explorers could explore, understand and craft their own AI prompt statements, type them into Padlet (a digital tool for teachers and students) , and were presented with 4 different AI generated art options for either a scene or animals. Our little creators chose their favourite, which we have included here for you to look at. We think they did incredibly well creating images.
Take a peek HERE at the amazing AI generated images our next generation were about to create. Feel free to like with a heart.
