Ride2School Day

On Friday, March 21st, EPS hosted our annual Ride2School Day. Students were encouraged to ride their bikes or scooters to school, where they were greeted by staff from Bicycle Network who handed out stickers as a welcome.

The SRC students took on the important task of judging the bikes and scooters in several exciting categories: Best, Coolest, Most Unique, Most Colourful, and Most Effort. It was a fun way to recognise the creativity and effort put into each ride.

Before school started, students had the chance to ride around the track and navigate obstacles set up in the school yard, adding an extra level of excitement to the morning. Despite the rain that started early in the day and continued until lunch, the weather couldn't dampen the students' enthusiasm. They made the most of the day, continuing to ride during recess and fully enjoying the fun activities.

The results of the hand-ups are as follows:

  • Prep A: 9
  • Prep B: 10
  • Prep C: 13
  • 1/2A: 9
  • 1/2B: 13
  • 1/2C: 10
  • 1/2D: 13
  • 3/4A: 10
  • 3/4B: 11
  • 3/4C: 12
