Head of Boarding

It has been an exciting fortnight here at Kambala, with plenty of energy and enthusiasm across our community. One of the standout events was the incredible Festival of Music at the Sydney Opera House. It was a spectacular evening that showcased the talent and hard work of all the girls, along with the support of many parents. The night was a true celebration of house spirit, fun, and dedication, with everyone coming together to learn the songs and deliver a polished, memorable performance.

Another highlight was Global Threads, an event led by Year 11’s Jackie Howe, which was much more than just a fashion walk. This fantastic new event celebrated the rich cultural diversity within our Kambala community. Through showcasing both traditional and modern cultural attire, it provided a platform to educate, appreciate, and embrace the varied backgrounds that shape our school. The event sparked important conversations around heritage, identity, and global connections, helping to foster a more inclusive and culturally aware environment at Kambala.

As summer sport comes to a close, we want to celebrate the fantastic participation and achievement of many of our boarders. The touch teams in particular have had an outstanding season, with boarders playing critical roles in the success of these teams. Their dedication and teamwork have truly shone through, contributing significantly to the teams’ accomplishments.

As we approach the end of term, we encourage all the girls to make the most of their prep time as many assessments are on the horizon. We will continue to support each girl to stay focused as we head towards the finish line for this term!
