Exploding With Colour: The Most Successful Colour Explosion at Holy Family

What a fantastic evening it was! Holy Family’s Colour Explosion event surpassed all expectations and turned into the most successful one we’ve ever held. From the glorious blue skies that finally graced the early evening to the exciting atmosphere, this year’s event truly had it all.

Families poured in, creating a vibrant buzz across the school oval as everyone waited for the starting colour canons. The new course proved to be a bit hit with the runners and all the children and adults were exiting the course unrecognisable after being immersed in a rainbow of colours.

After the run it was then time to share some dinner, sweet treats and tunes, as we gathered in the quadrangle to continue the fun. The sense of community was as equally vibrant as the kaleidoscope of colour that everyone wore. This night was a true celebration of what makes Holy Family such a wonderful and inclusive community.

One of the highlights of the evening was the Grade 6 activity stalls, which were an absolute hit! The students worked hard to create fun and engaging stalls, and it was clear that their efforts paid off, with long lines of excited kids eager to join in on the fun. Thank you to the teachers and students who put these stalls together. You are all superstars!

A big thank you to everyone who came and joined in the fun and to those who helped make the night such a success. All the parent leaders who helped organise the event, the teachers and every parent volunteer who gave their time so generously. These types of events are only possible with the support of everyone in the community and it is greatly appreciated.

As we wrap up the event, please note that the last sponsorships must be submitted by Friday, 28th March. Once the final tallies are in, next week we will be excited to share the total fundraising amount, as well as announce the highest fundraising class and individual.
