Saint Mary MacKillop Feast Day - August 8th
On Friday August 7th, our school community honors Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop, Australia’s very first cantonised saint with a whole school mass at 9:30am.
In the 1800s, Mary co-founded the Sisters of St Joseph to ensure that every child—no matter how poor or isolated—had access to an education, opening free schools across regional Australia. In our everyday lives, Mary inspires us through her famous motto: "Never see a need without doing something about it." Her legacy encourages our students to look out for one another, show practical kindness, and take quiet action whenever someone in our school community needs a helping hand.

We would like to thank our parents and families for supporting our Winter Appeal fundraising efforts this year. Between our Term 2 State of Original day and Term 3 Pyjama +Hot Chocolate day we have been able to donate to our local St Vincent de Paul branch in Tenterfield to directly help our local community.

Families of all denominations are welcome to attend our school and community Masses. They start at 9.30am unless otherwise advised.

A message from Cheryl, Rhonda and Jane,
Hi Ladies, our next morning tea will be at Maree McIntosh`s home at 39 Parkes Drive, Saddlers Estate. Maree's home is on the dam side. Friday 7th August.
Please let us know if you need help getting there. Mass will be at 9.30am and morning tea at 10.30am. Cost $15 per head. Please have the right money. We have Rob Evans coming to update us on Angel Flight, where we will give him a donation towards a worthy cause. We thought we would give $250, if everyone is happy with that.
