Kindergarten recently celebrated a very special milestone:Â 100 Days of School! Students arrived dressed as 100-year-olds, and it was wonderful to see so many creative costumes that brought plenty of smiles and laughter to the day.
Â
Throughout the day, students explored the number 100 through a range of fun, hands-on maths activities. They built towers using 100 blocks, completed a 100-movement fitness challenge, raced to 100 and worked together to create collections of 100. In literacy, students reflected on their first 100 days of Kindergarten by writing about what they have loved and learned so far. They also enjoyed 100-day themed stories and decorated their own 100 Day crowns.
Â
One of the highlights of the celebration was creating a giant Kindergarten Hundreds Chart featuring photos of every student and teacher. Families are invited to look out for this wonderful display in the Kindergarten hallway during Education Week.
Â
We are incredibly proud of how much our Kindergarten students have grown over their first 100 days of school. It has been wonderful to see their confidence, independence and love of learning flourish and we look forward to all the exciting learning still to come this year!

Recently, Venezuela has suffered severe damage from consecutive earthquakes, affecting thousands of families and limiting access to essential aid. Many are now living in emergency shelters.
Â
As a school community, we value compassion and awareness of global events, especially those affecting our friends and families connected to our school. Many families here and around the world are working to support those impacted.
Â
If you would like to help or learn more, please seek reliable information and look into established channels for offering support.Â
Â
Our thoughts are with all those facing these challenges.
