Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope everyone is keeping warm as we make our way through the depths of winter.

The P&C is looking forward to hosting our Community Morning Tea next Wednesday, 5 August, from 8:30am to 10:30am in the school hall, during Celebration of Learning open day. We warmly invite all parents and carers to join us. Come along for a coffee or tea, stay for a chat, and take the opportunity to connect with other members of our wonderful CPS community. We hope to see many familiar and new faces there.

Looking ahead, our Events Coordinator, Ashley, will soon be sending out Expressions of Interest for volunteers to help at two of our biggest events this term: the Father’s Day Breakfast BBQ on Friday, 4 September, and the ever-popular P&C Disco Night on Friday, 11 September. These events simply would not be possible without the support of our amazing parent and carer volunteers, so we encourage you to sign up if you are able to lend a hand. Every contribution, big or small, helps make these events a success for our students.

As we also begin planning for 2027, the P&C will be actively seeking parents and carers who are interested in joining the committee. With several of our current committee members set to finish their time at CPS as their children graduate from Year 6, we are looking to welcome new volunteers who are passionate about supporting our school community. If you've ever thought about getting involved, we'd love to hear from you.
