Welcome back Parents and Carers to our 2024 school year!

The school year has started positively with students establishing connections with their peers, classroom ES and teachers across their sections. It was wonderful to see such a large attendance at our Community Open Morning last week, where parents received information about their sections and a tour around the school. 

Unfortunately, due to the emergency electrical works at our Bundoora campus we had to postpone our Student Support Group meetings. These will now be held next Monday 19th February from 3:15pm – 6:30pm, all bookings will remain at the same time unless you contact your classroom teacher to make a change. 

Following your SSGs you will be able to find the minutes from the meeting uploaded to your child’s Compass profile. If you are having any trouble accessing these please contact your classroom teacher or myself: flora.nixon@education.vic.gov.au 

At Concord we have wonderful leadership in each section, the teaching and learning leaders for 2024 are highlighted below. Feel free to make contact and introduce yourself or reach out throughout the year for any support. 

At the end of week 6, I will be starting parental leave and I look forward to seeing you all again in 2025! During this period of absence, Karlie Gooding will continue in the Acting Assistant Principal role Teaching & Learning.
