STEM

The buzz and excitement coming from the STEM room each session is truly a joy to hear. The 5/6 students are busy writing their social media marketing content creation plan. The word DRONE was heard often during the students discussions and we are excited to see the content that they deliver. Friday last week saw the first social media post designed and published by the students! It has been wonderful to seem them so engaged and excited to learn about digital creation.

The 3/4 students have been busy coding micro:bit computers and are learning to create virtual pets. For those who were around in the 90s think of Tamagotchi or Digimon!

The 1/2s have been learning block code and sequencing of logical events with the Dot and Dash robots, controlling them and making them complete different scenarios during their sessions.

The Preps are even learning directional language and logical instructions through their Beebots. Getting them to complete different steps to make their way through mazes and around the classroom!
