Changes to the confiscated uniform items process

A uniform dress code reinforces in students a pride in their own appearance, instils recognition of themselves as an integral part of the school community, and assists in developing pride in representing their school.

The aim of having a school uniform is:

● To promote equality amongst all students.

● To further develop a sense of pride in, and identification with our school.

● To provide durable clothing that is cost effective and practical for our school environment.

● To maintain and enhance the positive image of the school in the community

To ensure the fulfilment of the above aims, the college will be making some changes to the confiscated uniform items process. Students who arrive at school wearing a non-uniform item will be asked to remove the non-uniform item. The non-uniform item will then need to be collected by a parent/guardian. A XUNO message will be sent to the parent/guardian asking them to collect the item after school from the student information window.

The non-uniform item may be collected by a parent/guardian after school from the college student information window from 3.00-3.45pm. Students may collect the item at an assigned time at the conclusion of the school term if parents are unable to collect the item.
