Brisbane City Council – School Buses

Brisbane City Council have requested that in the afternoons, all students board the bus from the front door only. Students without sufficient funds on their cards or no bus pass will be asked to board the bus last.

Parents are reminded to ensure there are sufficient funds on your son’s Go-card to complete the journey.

Tuckshop – IOU system

Students are required to bring their student ID card to utilise the pool canteen and tuckshop during the day. Parents must ensure that funds are available through the Monitor system. Attached are instructions on how to add funds to the Monitor account.

The College has an IOU system in place for one-off occasions where a student may forget to bring their card. IOUs will no longer be dealt with by the Tuckshop. Student Admin and Primary Reception staff will phone parents and seek permission for your son to be given an IOU. This will allow your son to have a ham and cheese sandwich (gluten-free option available). These will be available in Student Admin and Primary Reception.

Your son’s monitor account will be charged $4.50 to cover the cost of the IOU. Parents are required to add funds to the Monitor account by the end of the school day so the IOU can be cleared.

If your son has lost his student ID card, he will be required to purchase a new one via the Monitor system. Once purchased, he can collect his new card from IT the following day. The card will then take 24 hours to activate. Attached are instructions on how to purchase a new student ID card.
