Hello everyone, welcome back to the Mandarin edition of Week 7!

Approaching the end of Term 1, which is relatively shorter than other terms, our Grade 1/2 students have been diligently learning about the 12 Chinese months of the year. They have become proficient in saying them all well and applying the numerical skills they learned in previous years.

Over the last two weeks, they have been working on their flashcards, which display the different seasons in Australia. They have been colouring and cutting them to create flashcards for the 12 Chinese months.

For the next two weeks, students will begin learning the Seasons Song and play memory games using the words for months and seasons.
