Information - Defibrillator for St Simons Community

St Simon’s School has installed an externally stored Automated External Defibrillator for the health and safety of members of the community. 

The AED is located on the left-hand side of the driveway, near the double gates between the school and the church.  The AED storage cabinet has a keypad lock for security.  The code will be shared with the school community via the school newsletter, and the parish via Parish Bulletin.

The code to access the AED is 3178.  

To operate the keypad lock: 

Enter the code 3178, 

Rotate the silver knob CLOCKWISE (to the right)

A local alarm will sound when the door opens. This will stop when you close the door.

Families are encouraged to make themselves familiar with the location of AED so that in event of an emergency where CPR is required, the AED can be put to use as well.

This area of the school is under constant CCTV surveillance for security purposes.
