Staff Reflect on their first Term with Holy Family

Hello families, I am Aqsa Ahmed and recently joined HFD as learning support officer. I am delighted to work with young students and support them. I am passionate about Art & Craft and love painting.

This term students have been engaging in a variety of activities to explore new topics and I am looking forward to continue this next term.

Hi everyone,

My name is Jenna Wynd and I am the teacher in 1/2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have loved getting to know my wonderful 1/2 students this term and feel very lucky to be their teacher. We are currently investigating shapes in mathematics and it has been fantastic to see the students enjoying creating shapes while developing their knowledge. 

A highlight for this term is seeing the students embrace the awesome team environment we have created in our classroom. A team that supports and cares for each other! I'm looking forward to more fun, learning and adventure in Term 2.

My name is Kaveen Webster and I have joined the team at HFD as a Learning support officer this year. I am currently supporting the 1/2s and the 5/6s. It has been wonderful getting to know the students, parents and staff. 

I am excited to share my passion for music with the students. It has been a lovely term one and I am excited for the coming year!

Since Day 1, Term 1, it has been an absolute pleasure working at Holy Family and I will forever be so grateful for the opportunity that was given. 

My passion for helping students and building relationships continues to grow everyday and there isn’t a challenge too great for me to face. Being able to help students develop and even put a smile on their face, gives me many memories for me to cherish during my career and I can’t wait to make many more.
