Holy Week and Easter

This weekend we celebrate Palm Sunday, which marks the start of our journey into Holy Week and Easter.

This is the perfect time to reflect on our charism 'Be the Light'.

Just as Jesus illuminated the world with his teachings of love and compassion, we too are called to radiate positivity and kindness in our daily lives.

Palm Sunday marks the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, where crowds greeted him with joy, waving palm branches as a symbol of victory and hope.

Holy Week is a sacred time that commemorates the final week of Jesus Christ's life, leading up to his resurrection on Easter Sunday. Throughout Holy Week, various rituals and observances take place, each carrying its   own symbolic significance.

On Holy Thursday we recall the story of the Last Supper and then on Good Friday, Jesus' crucifixion.

Each day invites us to reflect on different aspects of Jesus' journey and teachings.

For our children, Holy Week presents an opportunity to engage with these traditions and learn about the themes of sacrifice, redemption, and hope.

Through storytelling, crafts, and discussions, we can explore the meaning behind each day of Holy Week and how it shapes our understanding of faith and spirituality.

This Easter season, may we find moments of inspiration, where we can

'Be the Light' to one another drawing strength from the teachings of Jesus!

Wishing you all a blessed Holy Week filled with peace, reflection, and spiritual growth.
