Grade 1 and 2 News

Term 2, Week 2

Key Dates & Reminders:

  • Readers and Drink Bottles: Please ensure your child has their reader with them each school day, this is important as students use their books as part of our Read to Self time each day. It is also helpful that students have a drink bottle with them each day, this helps to minimise disruption to learning time.
  • Reading Helpers: You should have received communication from your child's teacher regarding helping with reading beginning this term. If you have any queries regarding this please contact your child's classroom teacher.
  • School Photos: Our school photos were taken on Wednesday this week, if you missed ordering prior to this day you can still order your child's photos, however an order for family photos needed to be placed prior to the day.

What we have been up to...

Easter Hat Parade and Cross Country

In the last week of term 1 it was terrific to see our students having lots of fun participating in the Cross Country and our annual Easter Hat Parade. There was lots of effort that had gone into creating the hats and we would like to thank our families for supporting their child/ren with this!
