Primary Sub-School News

Rachael Macmillan

This week, Life Education came to visit our school. Each classroom had a lesson about looking after ourselves. We met Harold the Giraffe during our lesson, who along with educator Liz, helped us work through learning modules including Harold's Friendships and My Body Matters. On Wednesday, students were invited in small groups to meet the life size Harold the Giraffe. This was very exciting!

Today, we had our final Primary Sub School assembly for the year. Students received their Student of the Week Awards and had an opportunity to reflect on some of the highlights of the year.

Our final Student Support Group Meeting are being held at the moment until Thursday 7th Dec. If you haven't made a time with your child's teacher, ensure to communicate a suitable time via Xuno, the return slip, or in your child's diary. These final meetings are an opportunity to discuss successes, challenges and what comes next for your child at school.

Spare clothes- please send along a spare set of clothes, particulary pants, as they are often needed at school.

 Room 9

Room 9 have had an excellent year full of academic and social achievements, celebrations of special events, incursions, excursions and classroom fun. Highlights of Term 4 that students are enjoying or looking forward to are: Production, Healthy Harold and minibeast incursions, primary excursion to Croc’s Playcentre, learning about the different way we celebrate the holidays (Christmas, Diwali, Eid), making holiday themed cookies, holiday decorations and our end of year party. Congratulations to all of Room 9 on your hard work and the progress you have made towards your academic, social and personal goals. Thank you to all our supportive parents for the support you have provided this year, it has been a pleasure to work with your children and your families. We would like to wish everyone a Happy Holidays, safe travels if you are travelling and a wonderful break celebrating with family and friends.
