End of Year Party

BUY YOUR TICKETS ASAP – ONSALE ONLINE UNTIL MONDAY NIGHT ONLY !

Thank you to Engie who have sponsored our Party and to Stomping Ground who have sponsored the Bar!

TICKETS: Tickets to the End of Year Party are on sale now until Monday 26 November at 5pm via CompassTix here: https://compasstix.com/e/nd4nme1c0d  Tickets and unlimited ride passes also for sale on the day, but expect queues – SO BUY YOUR TICKETS ASAP .  This will allow enough time for the Party Team to distribute wrist bands to your family via your Eldest child.

General Admission - $10: All attendees (adults and children/students) over 3 years old need a General Admission ticket which grants access to all the general admission rides and activities: petting zoo, silent disco, trackless train, teacher dunk tank, entertainers, crazy hair station, band, and bar for people over 18 years.

Unlimited Rides - $20: Access to all of the General Admission attractions plus unlimited access to carnival rides: Meltdown*, Giant Slide, Bubble Soccer*, Chair-o-Plane and the Mini Ferris wheel (*some height restrictions apply)

Wrist bands for your family will given to your Eldest child on Wednesday / Thursday prior to the Party in a envelop – check their school bag! New Prep 2024 families are invited to attend and their tickets can be collected from Reception the week prior to the Party or at the Prep transition morning tea on Wednesday.

Teacher Dunk Tank: It’s time to practice your aim….the Teacher Dunk Tank is a major drawcard of this year’s party and we would like to thank all of our brave (and soon to be wet) teachers and our “headline” acts for volunteering to raise money for the School – let’s just say that the line up promises to rival a Taylor Swift concert.

Volunteers: The Party needs volunteers to make it a success – please volunteer for a 1 hr shift here.  Lots of options available:  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hEgb8MCe8rWtJOE9h6w3hieG0i6QS3BRp8R_czf0O-k/edit

We especially need volunteers to assist with queue management to ensure that everyone has a fair time at the carnival.

SILENT AUCTION IS NOW LIVE!!

New Items: Cacao Hamper, International Sports Camp, craft workshop, coding camp. You will not want to miss this Auction.

Silent Auction Fundraiser:  The Silent Auction is now live and there are new lots to bid on.  Maybe the auction price of the item you would like is already at or above the retail price, or you think your chance to win the bike is low.  Please see this as a fundraising event, and not just another discounted shopping website. Place a bid & buy a raffle ticket – your funds are not lost, they all go towards the school…and you may even be the lucky winner. Auction closes 30 November, and the bike raffle on 1 December.   Thank you to our raffle sponsor Decathlon and the efm who lead this fundraising effort.  Please bid generously – may the highest bid win!   You can register to bid and bid here: https://app.galabid.com/cjcauction/register or (text cjcauction and your full name to 0458678678).

CAN YOU DONATE SOMETHING TO THE SILENT AUCTION:  If you have a donation, please use the link to upload your donated item or service: http://bit.ly/cjc2023donation

End of Year Party – Bar for Adults - Looking for volunteers – FREE RSA training provided

The School’s leadership and Council have approved having a bar at the EOYP. This is the first time we have aimed to have a bar at a School function in many years as it’s not the easiest to pull off.  This is a great opportunity not only for fundraising, but to allow our community to enjoy a beer, wine or cider in a beer garden while socialising with other parents.  To be able to make this bar a reality we will need volunteers that have a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA). The Parent’s Committee has agreed to fund this for anyone who wishes to volunteer and commits to at least 1 x 1hr shift on Friday the 1st December (date of the party). This free RSA training offer is also open to any immediate CJC family member over 18 years of age. Remember an RSA lasts 1 year, and can be used for all forms of employment. Spots are limited and the training will be at 11am,  Sunday, 26th November at CJC.   *Please get in touch with Marc Warshall from 1/2A on +61412389954 if you are interested or would like to know more*

Term 4 Treats Roster:  In term 4, icy poles ($2) and pains from Reverie Café ($4) will be for sale.
