Hi everyone,

Throughout the term we have been involved in some free "Sporting School" clinics. The sports have been Golf and Tennis. We were lucky enough to have Broden and Jack from Centenary Park Tennis club, plus Paul Boxall from Golf Victoria. The children involved in clinics had so much fun and I was so pleased when they commented on our students behaviour and participation. 

SKYE BIG BASH LEAGUE 2023

10 teams and over 80 students competed in our school’s 8th year of big Bash Cricket.

In the girls competition, Stars, Renegades, Sixers and Strikers played. All teams were well represented by our grade 5 & 6 girls, while Elyson Ashcroft and Bojana from grade 4.

The Strikers and Sixers were outstanding in their teamwork and support during the tournament, and played in the Grand Final. 

Strikers were the eventual winners of the competition. Congratulations to Olivia, Evie, Tarni, Mia, Lacey and Elyson.

In the boys competition there were some fantastic cricketers from grade 3 who joined the competition this year. Hudson, Jack, Parkes, Zac, Aleksey, Quinci, Luke, Fletcher and Luke. Their was also cameo appearances from Nate (G2), Easton (G1) and Harlan (G1).

Renegades finished on top of the ladder. They were by far the best TEAM with stacks of encouragement and chanting.

They were outplayed in the Grand Final by Red Steel, who rose to the occasion. Their team consisted of Ben, Josh, Ashton, Mitch, Xavier (G6), Baylen (G4) and Fletcher (G3).
