We are so close to finishing the term!
Announcements
- We will start to send home work and books/resources home with your child over the next week or so. This will be completed by next Friday to ensure a smooth process for teachers who will be moving classrooms in Week 12.
- Our class party to celebrate the completion of year 4 will be on Wednesday December 13th at 1pm. To make it easier for all, can we please have our girl students bring savoury (hot or cold) and boys sweet (can include fruit).
- We would like to congratulate the students on their performance at the Christmas concert. We had a lot of fun rehearsing during school and it was awesome to see it all come together. We really appreciate the time you all spent coming along to a beautiful community event. Thank you!
Our learning
- Writing: We continue to write and publish our fractured fairy-tale stories. The students are having a a lot of fun doing this.
- Reading: Book club activity grid.
- Maths: Practising our multiplication facts through games and activities.
- Inquiry: Developing and presenting our group presentations on erosion.
- Wellbeing: Defining what 'respect' is and how to be respectful in various social scenarios.
Celebrations of learning
Imitating sand erosion caused from waves.
Creating 3D shapes when given the height, length and width measurements.
The students have worked extremely hard this year and we couldn't be more prouder of them. They collectively have come so far academically and socially. Lots of joyful memorable moments were shared together that we will cherish dearly.
