Write it Right
We kicked off Write it Right this year with a visit to Murrook Cultural Centre to meet the team. We learned all about the year ahead, had a tour of the centre and the art gallery and had a yummy lunch.
We met Uncle Allen, Uncle John Ridgeway and Aunty Mary who told us about their lives, how they grew up and the struggles they went through to become proud of who they are and their culture.
We shared all about what we wanted to learn this year - we're all excited to learn more about our culture and our mobs as well as learn how to stand proud of ourselves and our culture.
Gordon's Driving Program
This year, 9 students are participating in Gordon's Driving Program with Kylie. They spent three intense days learning all about road rules and safe driving. A visit to Maitland RMS saw 8 student pass their test first go! They're ready to get out on the road and drive.
