Defence School Mentor

Hello to our Defence families!  

My name is Louise, and I'm the new Defence School Mentor at Francis Greenway High School, and a Defence spouse of 14 years. I have guided my three children through the experiences and challenges that Defence life entails during multiple postings across NSW, QLD & WA, as well as an international posting to Malaysia. I also have experience supporting Defence families through various Defence-related community positions.  

What is the Defence School Mentor Program? 

It is designed to support the wellbeing of children of ADF members, and is delivered in partnership with schools. 

The program connects children with their school community and enhances the schools ability to address the impacts of the military lifestyle. 

If you are a Defence family and would like your child included in the Defence School Mentor Program, please notify the school via email on francisgre-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au 

I will be reaching out to our Defence students over the coming weeks to introduce myself, and organising student catchups and other related events. There will be an ongoing Defence Group catchup in the Wellbeing Hub held during Break 1 on Wednesdays.
