Handsome & Great Performance

On December 2nd, our Senior drama class performed a fractured fairytale at David Williamson's Theatre with Academe Time (our after school drama provider). The students spent all term creating the storyline, characters and script with guidance from their teacher Ash. They contributed to costume development, character journeys and the story's twists and turns, changing the original story of Hansel & Gretel, to create a well received play of "Handsome & Great!"

They performed to an audience of 119 parents in the morning and another 100 parents in the afternoon. They joined Richmond, Elwood, Malvern, St.Kilda, St.Finbars and Middle Park Primary students on stage and did a brilliant job. All students should be exceptionally proud of what they achieved in such a short amount of time. Our drama students this term who shared in the experience were; Autumn A, Hazel B, Lexie C, May G, Poppy G, Christian H, Harriet H & Aston S.

A massive congratulations to these students for representing Elsternwick Primary so wonderfully and being bold and brave on stage!
