Grade 5 & 6 

Week 8, term 4

Grade 5s have been busily preparing letters for their 2024 prep buddies. The letters are a great way for the buddies to get to know their 'big' buddies. The anticipation of meeting their buddies at the kindergartens has been so wonderful to see.  Everyone was excited to be with their buddies at SMJ this afternoon (photos on facebook to come soon). 

Grade 6s are creating narratives for their buddies. They have been busy drafting, editing and publishing. They will continue to work on them next week adding illustrations. 

Reminders: 

• no more spelling but still expected to read at least 5 nights a week.
• Graduation Mass Celebration Friday 15th December @ 12noon 

Next week:

• Monday - Performing Arts 
• Tuesday - Specialist day instead of Thursday (sports clothes)
• Wednesday - Open-Water Safety session at Lake Fyans  
• Thursday - day at St. Bs (arrive at school normal and we will walk down)
• Friday - 'normal' day
