Principal's Update

Dear Families,

BUDDY VISITS

Over the last two weeks, our Grade 5 students have been to visit their 2024 Prep Buddies. We are so proud of them all as they have stepped up to the responsibility of caring for and getting to know their buddy. Seeing this brings me the greatest of joy. It is also a wonderful opportunity to get into our local kindergartens and long daycare centres and witness the work of our early years colleagues. We thank them for their dedication to our children. 

STAFFING 2024

We look forward to 2024 and our wonderful teams of teachers working to offer the best education to your children.

Prep -  Mrs Haase, Miss Janetzki  and Mrs Consedine

Grade 1/2 - Mrs Bush, Miss Bourke ( joining us in 2024), Mrs Horsfall, and Mrs Friend in a part-time capacity as additional support.

Grade 3/4 - Mrs Hausler, Mrs McKinnon, Mrs Abbott, and Mrs Newton in a part-time capacity as additional support.

Grade 5/6 - Mrs Ward, Mr Millemaci, Mr Cross and Miss Roll in two days a week.

Mrs Wade, Mrs Wilson and Ibu Brenna will continue with us as Specialist teachers. 

Miss Dortmans will be back to teaching PE three days a week.

Miss Murray will be joining us for two days a week.

Mr Poly will be heading to Melbourne to teach at St. Monica's Moonee Ponds.

Mrs Hartigan will be stepping back into a support role while she completes some further study.

Mrs Glatz will be our new Deputy Principal. 

Mrs Overman and Mrs Carberry will continue to keep the office running smoothly.

Our great team of Learning Support Staff , Mrs Lloyd, Mrs Connelly, Mrs Cross, Miss Flick, Miss Lotus, Isaiah, Mrs Egan, Mrs Mines, Mrs Reynolds, Mrs Spiller, Mr Smith, Mrs Luciani and Miss Cons will continue with us. 

Mrs McCall will still be in the library.

We feel very fortunate to be fully staffed.  We are aware of so many schools still struggling to get staff.

I also feel very privileged to work alongside a great team of people who always put the children first.
