Year 3 Maths

Year 3 have been getting creative in Maths lessons. Here they are making square metres out of newspapers:

Kinder

Kinder are getting into the Christmas Spirit with their craft.

They had a lot of fun creating Advent Wreaths from leaves.

Paint the Town ReAD

Kinder were recently presented with a book each from Paint the Town ReAD.

Paint the Town ReAd are a charity organisation who encourage people to read with children from birth, so they start school ready to learn.

Every time we read, talk, sing and rhyme with children brain connections grow, and build the foundations for learning.

Children with good foundational early literacy skills arrive at school:

  • able to communicate their needs
  • understanding conversations
  • able to take direction, and
  • ready to learn to read and write, with a healthy brain.
