From the Principal

- Mr Michael Horne

This week, our Year 6 students presented a wonderful final class assembly. Setting the theme, writing the script and sourcing props themselves, the Year 6 students led an entertaining reflection on their time at Myrniong on the set of 'Have You Been Paying Attention?' This was a special event for students, staff and parents.

Schools are generally quite good, I think, at marking these important moments of transition. Having just farewelled our graduating Class of 2023 last week at their Valedictory Service and Dinner, we now mark the transition of our graduating Year 6 students, the Class of 2029. No longer young children, this impressive group are ready for the challenges and breadth of Senior School, having been equipped with the knowledge, skills and dispositions they have built within the caring borders of Myrniong. I look forward to marking this milestone with the Year 6s and their parents when we gather for the Year 6 Dinner next Wednesday.
