Strings at the VSMF!
This week, the Overnewton Junior Strings and String Fusion travelled to the Hawthorn Arts Centre to participate in the Victorian Schools Music Festival.
They performed for students from other schools and family and friends, at the beautiful Hawthorn Arts Centre. Afterwards, the ensembles took part in a mini workshop with a facilitator who provided constructive feedback and helped sharpen their skills.
Thank you to Mrs. Prue Jury and Ms. Ally Broddle, who direct these ensembles.
We wish the String Orchestra all the best as they have their turn on Friday.

Frozen - Year 5/6 Musical
One of the exciting Festival of Music performances is the Year 5/6 musical, Frozen Kids.
Featuring all the song favourites, our cast have been working hard to perfect the drama, choreography and music.

Individual Music Lessons – Term 3 is a great time to start lessons!
The College offers individual lessons on a range of woodwind, brass, string, percussion and keyboard instruments. Information regarding organisation and lesson cost can be accessed in the Instrumental and Vocal Lesson Handbook in the Compass Performing Arts folder here.
