2024 School Council

Dear Parents, 

On behalf of the entire school council, we would like to thank each and every staff member for their hard work and dedication to the students and community of Mackellar PS. It is your work each and every day that produces such wonderful outcomes for our children, be that academic, social and emotional. 

On behalf of the school community, we hope you can now rest up for a few weeks and take some well earned vacation time with your family and friends after working so hard for ours. 

To the families in our community, how fortunate we are to be a part of such a warm, caring and successful school. Thank you for your contribution, big or small, to your child's education. Being a parent is tough as we all know, but being able to spend some time talking about school, coming along to school events and being a part of our child's education means so much to them, and as a parent myself i know, it means so much to me and my wife. So thank you. 

To everyone, have a most wonderful holiday period. If for your family that means taking part in Christmas events, no doubt this will be a special time for you all. 

As we head into 2025,  we hope some of you will consider being a part of our school council next year, as we all work together to continue to make our school the best it can be for our children.
