End of Year Music Showcase

On the evening of October 17th, our Music students shared a wonderful night of music making, demonstrating to family and friends their level of skills and amazing improvement. 

The night started with a composition from one of our own students, Leonard R., entitled Snares Pace.   First year players demonstrated just how far they have come in a year in Beginner Band and 7C, whilst Intermediate Band and 8C set toes tapping as they played Low Rider and Thriller.   The extension Jazz Improvisation Group put some swing into the night.  The Guitar Ensemble continued the groove, with vocals provided by two of our new Vocal Program students, Gemma T. and Stephanie F.  Percussion Ensemble kept the party vibe going with a spirited performance of Tequlia. The night concluded with our Senior Band presenting some challenging pieces to a very high standard.

We are looking forward to next year's performances.
