Supporting our Community

Year 9 Personal Best

Two of our Year 9 Personal Best classes were proud to deliver the projects they have been working on this semester, to their new home at 208 Echuca Primary School, last week.

A core component of our Living Justice Living Peace (LJLP) charter is using our gifts and talents to contribute in meaningful ways in the community.

And what better place to give back to than one of our local schools!

One class decided to build picnic tables and the other constructed a dog kennel for the school’s therapy dog.

Staff at 208 were absolutely thrilled with the final products - even presenting our students with a certificate!

Our students have really enjoyed working on these projects and were delighted to see how their hard work will be put to use in the community.

A huge thank you to 208 for hosting us and making us feel so appreciated!

VM Literacy

Students in VCE VM Literacy recently completed an assessment on providing for community needs.

In this, they created a series of recipes for their chosen community group.

This work was then turned into a recipe book, which each student was given as a memento of their hard work.

Congratulations to Steph Dettman, who designed the front and back covers for this year's book.
