Christmas Concert 2024

Music students of John XXIII College are excitedly preparing for their upcoming Christmas Concert on Friday 22 November. Featuring instrumental and vocal ensembles from Years 2 to 11, this concert will feature both showcase items and community carols for singing along as families anticipate the festive season that accompanies the final weeks of the school year.

Please note the following details of the Christmas Concert.

Date: Friday 22 November
Ensembles: Primary Singers, Wanju Voices, Treble Choir, Chapel Choir, Senior Voices, Barbershop, Christmas Band, Mini Minors, String Orchestra, Year 5 Band, Year 6 Band, Chamber Orchestra, Year 9/10 Rock Band, Brass Ensemble
Venue: Library Courtyard
Mashalling Venue: Library (staff and performing students only)
Arrival Times: All performing students must report to the Library on arrival for attendance to be taken.
- Brass Ensemble and Year 9/10 Rock Band - 4:00pm
- Primary students with instruments: 4:30pm
- Primary students without instruments: 4:45pm
- All Secondary students 5:00pm
Preshow Entertainment Starts: 4:30pm
Concert Starts: 5pm
Performance Attire: College uniform, socks and black shoes. Christmas accessories are encouraged!
Concert Finish: Approximately 6:30pm

Families are encouraged to bring picnic chairs and mats as seating is not provided, as well as picnic food and drinks for this fun and festive concert. Families are also encouraged to dress for the season!

Students will be required to listen carefully to the marshalling announcements made over the PA during the concert. Families will be responsible for supervising their children when they are not marshalled or performing. Areas outside of the Library Courtyard are closed and unsupervised during the concert.
