ART
Students have been making great progress with their paintings, inspired by our Term Four feature artist, Sally Morgan. Her vibrant, nature-based landscapes, characterised by bold colours and intricate line patterns, have encouraged students to explore their creativity.

Beginning with sketches of our school garden, students are now developing these ideas into larger paintings. The emerging artworks are vibrant and full of life, showcasing each student’s unique perspective.

Our Grade Six students are also nearing completion of their graduation toys, and the results are spectacular. Each toy reflects creativity and imagination, with students designing unique clothing, adding intricate details like beading and buttons, and incorporating beautifully painted features.
We’re thrilled to announce that all of these wonderful creations will be featured at our upcoming Music/Art/Craft Expo on Friday, 6th December (Week 9). This special event, coinciding with TPS Summer Sessions, will include:
- A display of student art and craft projects.
- Live music performances by our talented students.
- An open art room for creative art-making activities.
There will be a compass post also asking for community volunteers to help with the set up and supervising the art room art activities.
We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the hard work and creativity of our students. Mark your calendars—we look forward to seeing you there!
To support student learning, parents are invited to help in the art room. You will need a current working with children check. Please sign in at the office before you come to the art room.
