Gee Oh Me… Try out some maths!

Students have been learning to create shapes and patterns using a protractor and compass, and they have been exploring angles and degrees through these tools. Our geometry main lesson will be the last main lesson of the year, with the rest of the focus being on forming different shapes, categorising them, and finding ways to better understand the shapes we already know. Down below are some thoughts about the main lesson and some images of their work.

Penny says “It is a really fun main lesson, using the compass is very satisfying”.

Delilah says “I think it was really interesting learning about the different angles and how combining them made cool patterns and images, and I have now learnt how to use a compass and protractor”.

Ivy says “I really really really like geometry”!
