Principal's Message

Dear Endeavour Hills Specialist School community members,

As we approach the end of the year, I want to take a moment to reflect on all the wonderful moments we've shared and express my heartfelt thanks to our students, parents, and staff for making this year so special.

A Year of Fun, Learning, and Friendship This year has been full of exciting adventures in learning. From exploring new books and building creative projects to singing in our concerts and participating in fun theme days, our students have grown in so many ways. We’ve seen their confidence blossom, their friendships grow, and their curiosity spark new discoveries.

In the classroom, our students have worked hard to learn new skills, ask big questions, and celebrate their progress. Our dedicated teachers have created warm, supportive classrooms where every student feels valued and encouraged to do their best.

We celebrated our first ever school camp with the students in Bursaria. The students were outstanding ambassadors for our school demonstrating kindness, resilience and independence. They, and the staff, stepped out of their comfort zone trying rock climbing, the flying fox and giant drop. There may be a video of me squealing all the way down on the flying fox!

Our School Family One of the most heart-warming parts of this year has been seeing our school community come together. Events like Harmony Day, Book Week, Assemblies, Sports day, camp have filled our school with joy and laughter. Thank you to all the parents and caregivers who have volunteered, supported events, and cheered on our students every step of the way.

Looking Ahead As we get ready for a fresh new year, we’re filled with excitement for all the wonderful things to come. We’re planning even more opportunities for our students to explore, create, and grow. From new learning activities to special events, there’s so much to look forward to. We’ll continue to make our school a place where every child feels happy, safe, and ready to learn.

Our school will welcome 60 new students in 2025. This increase means that the carpark in the morning and afternoon will be even busier. We will be instigating some new parking restrictions and guidelines to try and smooth the flow of traffic. Look out for and follow the directions of our staff in High -Vis who will assist you.

You should have received your child's 2025 class list and social story via email on Friday 13th December. Your child's report is available on Compass.

We encourage all our students to think about their goals for the new year. It’s a great time to dream big, try new things, and believe in themselves. We’re here to cheer them on every step of the way!

A Time to Rest and Play The holiday break is a chance to slow down, rest, and spend time with family. We hope our students take time to play, read, and enjoy the simple joys of the season. We can’t wait to hear all their stories when they return!

On behalf of all our teachers and staff, I wish each of you a peaceful, happy, and safe holiday season. Thank you for being part of our wonderful school community. Together, we’ve learned, laughed, and grown, and we’re so excited for what’s next.

Stay connected with us on Facebook and email for news, updates, and exciting announcements in the new year.

Warmly,

Karen Hunt
