As part of Hampton's whole school Wellbeing curriculum, the children will be introduced to our school norms Collaboration, Aspiration, Integrity and Resilience.
Initially, this the term, we will focus on classroom expectations, lining up, cleaning our spaces (keeping stationary caddies clean, bag area), telling the truth, 5 star listening, moving around the room carefully.
We will look at Emotional Literacy and Personal Strengths. Students will be involved in activities to promote and identify their strengths and be able to express and identify different feelings and emotions and how to solve problems. We will delve deep into positive psychology and strengths-based approaches as we integrate tasks from the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships Program and Visible Wellbeing Framework.
