SSG Meetings and IEP goal setting

Student Support Group meetings are held between Weeks 3 and 5 of each term, with a term 1 focus on establishing learning goals for the year. This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with your child's class teacher and prioritise your child's learning needs. If you are yet to book a time for the meeting please contact the class teacher asap. Meetings are held Monday to Thursday until February 27th, 3:15pm or 3:45pm. 

Whilst you are attending your child's SSG, it is a good opportunity to complete/return Consent Form for Contact & Sharing Information between School and External Therapy Services. Please ask your child's teacher for this form if you need one. 

Once SSG meetings are concluded teachers will develop an Individual Education Plan for your child, this will be accessible on the School XUNO app or a printed out copy will be sent home by the end of Term 1.

Each child will have goals set aligned with the Victorian Curriculum in: 

• English - reading & viewing, speaking & listening, writing, 

• Numeracy - number & algebra, measurement & geometry, statistics & probability,

• Personal & Social Capabilities - self-awareness and social-awareness and,

• Health & Physical Education - personal, social & community health and movement & physical activity.
