Our Photographing, Filming and Recording Students Policy, describes how we collect and use photographs, video and recordings of students. The policy also explains when parent consent is required and how it can be provided and withdrawn.

We ask parents to also review the guidance we provide on how we use Google Workspace for Education safely at the school and what parents can do to further protect their child’s information. If after reviewing the guidance, you have any questions or concerns regarding your child using Google Workspace for Education, please contact the school.

School Saving Bonus

The School Saving Bonus can be used towards 2025 school camps, trips, excursions and incursions.

Parent Payments 2025

The parent payment determined by School Council each year provides the vital funds necessary for Lilydale High School to continue to provide excellent facilities, and sufficient teaching and curriculum resources to ensure a high-quality education for all students.

While every effort is made to keep these fees as low as possible, the school needs your assistance to continue to provide the excellent educational programs and the successful outcomes for students that have become the hallmark of Lilydale High School.

Chromebook Program

The Lilydale High School Chromebook program is separated into two phases:

Phase 1 Year 7 to 9 Chromebook Pgm

Phase 2 Year 10 to 12 Chrome/Notebook Pgm

Purchasing a new device in Year 7 and then again in Year 10 ensures students have a reliable and up-to-date device to support their learning.

Insurance / Ambulance Cover

The Department of Education does not provide personal accident insurance or ambulance cover for students.

Parents and carers of students who do not have student accident insurance or ambulance cover, are responsible for paying the cost of medical treatment for injured students, including the cost of ambulance attendance or transport as well as any other transport costs. It is the responsibility of parents or carers to look into their preferred options in this regard.

Private property brought to school by students, staff or visitors is not insured and the Department does not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage.  This can include mobile phones, calculators, toys, sporting equipment and cars parked on school premises.

As the Department does not hold insurance for personal property brought to schools and has no capacity to pay for any loss or damage to such property, students and staff are discouraged from bringing any unnecessary or particularly valuable items to school.

2024 Salamander
