Dear Families
What a wonderful week of learning we have had. I love getting out of my office, walking around the school, listening to the learning, and laughter. It really is a great place to be.
This week, we met with the children to revisit our expectations regarding behaviour in our school. These discussions with our children are an important part of our learning here at school. We also spoke about wearing the correct uniform. A reminder that if children are out of uniform for any reason, they are to provide their teacher with a note from you, please. We have also noted that some children are wearing black socks, which are not part of our uniform; they need to wear white or grey, please.
Over the Christmas break, the planning process for our building project has continued. Stay tuned for some community meeting dates coming soon where I will share where we are up to.
Thank you to the families who attended our GTKs. We appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your children and family.
One of the most common conversations we have with families is about friendships. This is a reminder that on our website, families can access SchoolTV, which has an incredible range of resources for families.
The link below has great information about friendship and belonging.

For our Grade 6 families, it is time to consider secondary schooling. I encourage you to take up the offer of a Principal's tour of St.Brigids and see all it has to offer.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend and stay cool tomorrow.
