Wellbeing

Wellbeing at BSPS
We hope everyone is keeping warm and having a wonderful Term 3! We’re already halfway through the term…where has the time gone?
We’ve been continuing our focus on being kind to ourselves and others through our whole-school Caught Being Kind challenge. Last week’s spot prizes went to Sorcha, Bellamy, Charlie and Amina! Congratulations, and keep those acts of kindness coming!
Our staff kindness challenge is also underway, with staff looking out for small ways to spread kindness across the school — from sharing a shoutout or covering a colleague’s yard duty, to something as simple as drinking plenty of water (because kindness to ourselves counts too!).
Bullying No Way Week
Next week, our Inclusion Action Team will be leading us through Bullying No Way Week, with daily messages, classroom learning and opportunities to think about how our small actions can make a big difference.
We’ll finish the week with a shared eating time on Friday, where we’ll also draw more Caught Being Kind slips!
And yes… music will be playing at lunchtime and dancing is very welcome!
This year’s theme is “Small Acts, Big Impact”. This is a great reminder that kindness doesn’t have to be complicated. A smile, including someone in a game, checking in on a friend or standing up for someone can make a bigger difference than we realise.
Let’s keep looking out for each other and making BSPS a kind, inclusive and welcoming place for everyone.
